Health Insurance Opt-Out Information
(2018-2026 Contract)
The County will offer an annual opt-out payment to employees who maintain alternative health care coverage and waive County provided healthcare as follows:
- $4,000 for Waived Family Coverage
- $2,000 for Waived Individual Coverage
- Payment will be made at the END of the plan year commencing with 2023. There will be no partial payments.
