On March 7th, 2016 at approximately 0430 hours, during a routine glass check in RMP 509, Police Officers Concannon and Destefano observed three male subjects exiting a liquor store through a broken front glass door. The subjects were carrying several milk crates containing liquor bottles as well as a sledge hammer and assorted tools. The subjects then entered a dark colored mini-van at which time the officers conducted a car stop and were able to place the subjects into custody without incident. All three subjects were charged with burglary 3rd and possession of burglar’s tools. As a result of their diligent patrol and situational awareness, police officers Daniel Concannon and Michael Destefano have been chosen as P.B.A. Top Cops for March 2016.
