Top Cops September 2004

Police Officers Jeffrey Raymond and Edward Unverzagt were named top cops for September 2004.
On September 17, 2004, Officers Raymond and Unverzagt arrested an individual for possession of marijuana. Their belief that the subject was in fact involved in narcotics sales encouraged them to expand their investigation. As a result of their perseverance, Officers Raymond and Unverzagt recovered from the subject: 2 loaded handguns, multiple switchblade knives, a dagger, metal knuckles, a billy, a police scanner, along with an NCPD bullet proof vest, and a cross bow. Eight ounces of marijuana, assorted pills, heroin and opium were also confiscated. The defendant was charged with various weapons and narcotics offenses. The officers also seized over $54,000 in US currency that was forwarded to Asset Forfeiture Bureau.
