Motorcycle Patrolman Duncan was struck by an automobile from the rear knocking him off his motorcycle at Northern Blvd. in Upper Brookville, N.Y. He died of his injuries. The operator of the car was indicted for second degree manslaughter and found guilty of driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to two to four years in Sing Sing Prison.
