Kathleen M Reilly

Detective Reilly, while assisting a disabled motorist, was struck by a vehicle on the Meadowbrook Parkway resulting in her death. Detective Reilly was the first woman appointed to the Nassau County Police Department and also the first woman Detective. Detective Reilly was awarded a certificate for Excellent Police Work posthumously, for work performed in the year 1967.
