Patrolman Klepper while operating a motorcycle on patrol was chasing a speeder on Sunrise Highway. He crashed into a truck at Newbridge Road in Bellmore, causing his death. Patrolman Arthur Klepper had two brothers whom were also Nassau County Police Officers. Patrolman Klepper was awarded a Commendation on September 10, 1934.
