Patrolman Delgiorno while operating Radio Motor Patrol car #106 on Atlantic Avenue, Oceanside, was involved in an auto accident at Lincoln Avenue with a dump truck at about four-thirty in the afternoon. Patrolman Delgiorno died as a result of the accident.
