On March 11th, 2007, the victim used his credit card to make a purchase at the Broadway Mall in Hicksville. The salesperson, Gurjeet
Bhullar did not return the credit card to the victim who then left the sales counter without realizing that he did not have his card with him. The victim later realized that the card was gone and returned to the Mall, but the store was closed and the subject gone. The next morning there were four new charges made on the victim’s card. Gurjeet was charged with Forgery 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree and Identity Theft 2nd Degree. Gurjeet failed to appear in court after being convicted on the above charges and a District Court Bench Warrant was issued for his arrest. His whereabouts at this time are unknown.
