Police arrested a Port Washington man on felony charges that his computer had more than 100 images of child pornography, authorities said.
Executing a search warrant on Middleneck Road, investigators on Friday morning found the pornography as well as marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms, all allegedly belonging to Colin H. Fitzpatrick, State Police said in a news release.
Charges against Fitzpatrick, 27, include five felony counts of possession of sexual performance by a child, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, court records show.
At an arraignment Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead, Fitzpatrick's bail was set at $110,000 bond or $55,000 cash, the records show.
A guard at the Nassau County jail in East Meadow said Fitzpatrick hadn't been booked there, likely because the bail was posted at court.
None of the investigating agencies could be reached Saturday night for more details on the arrest, and a message left at a number listed in public records for Fitzpatrick wasn't immediately returned.
