Nassau County police are searching for three men who robbed a man at gunpoint on an Elmont street Tuesday night, stealing his laptop computer, cash and phone before fleeing into the night.

The victim was uninjured.

Police said the incident occurred at 11:50 p.m. near the intersection of Dutch Broadway and Astor Road. The 27-year-old victim was suddenly surrounded by three "unknown male subjects" - all armed with semiautomatic handguns.

The three fled north on Astor after robbing the victim, police said Wednesday.

Police are asking for help finding the trio.

One of the assailants is believed to be about 6-foot-4, while the others are said to be under 6 feet - one about 5-foot-9, the other about 5-foot-6. All wore ski masks and carried handguns.

Two of the guns were black, the other silver nickel-plated, police said.
