Nassau cops arrest three men after stabbing incident

Three New Cassel men were arrested and charged with gang assault in the stabbing of three other men early Easter Sunday morning, Nassau police said.
It was 3:15 a.m. Sunday when Jimes Arias, 36, and Jose Rodriguez, 26, both of 268 Sherman St.; and Marvin Rogue-Miranda, 22, of 12 Second St., got into a fight with three other males, ages 35, 36 and 40, the police said.
During the fight all three victims were stabbed in the chest, abdomen and back with an unknown weapon, the police said. Two of the victims were taken to Nassau University Medical Center and the third victim was taken to Winthrop-University Hospital, the police said.
Five Nassau police Third Precinct officers made the arrests.
All three suspects are charged with first-degree assault and first-degree gang assault; and weapons possession, the police said.
Jimes Arias is also charged with resisting arrest and Jose Rodriguez is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, the police said.
