Cops: Man nabbed for robbery in Cedarhurst

The Nassau police made a quick arrest Sunday morning after two teens, an 18-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl, were robbed in Cedarhurst.
Nicholas Sarnelli, 19, of 132 Bayswater Blvd., Inwood, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, the police said.
It was 12:37 a.m. Sunday when Sarnelli came up to the two victims, told them he had a gun and demanded money, the police said.
After the girl handed over her wallet and the boy gave him cash, Sarnelli ran away, the police said.
He was arrested a short time later on Maple Avenue by Fourth Precinct police officers.
The victims were not injured.
