A Ronkonkoma man was pulled over for texting while driving on Tuesday, and was taken away in handcuffs after Nassau police found a switchblade knife and 15 bags of heroin on him.

Thirty-two-year-old Jerimiah Domingos was driving his 2005 Mercedes down Linden Street in Massapequa Park at around 3:10 p.m. when police allegedly saw him texting on his cell phone.

Domingos was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and use of a portable electronic device.
