Police seek suspect in 'knock, knock' burglaries

Dave Mahler's home is blanketed by security cameras. He says when he reviewed a tape showing a person knocking on his front door, he noticed that the stranger then headed to his backyard.
The rear camera then recorded the same person apparently trying to pry open the back door. He failed to enter because the door was locked and Mahler's dog was barking, but police say there have been several burglaries in the neighborhood.
Nassau police say they are now searching for the suspect who was caught on camera, especially since it appears from the tape that he has accomplices.
Meanwhile, Mahler says he'll install more cameras around his home.
