2 arrested in robbery of cab driver

Nassau police arrested two Uniondale men for allegedly robbing a taxi driver during a cab ride in Williston Park early Saturday morning.
Anthony Rolle-Davila, 23, of Birch Street and Curtis Morgan, 23, of Greengrove Avenue hailed to cab in Syosset and asked for a ride to Uniondale before committing the robbery, police said. Rolle-Davila grabbed the driver from the backseat while Morgan went through the driver's pockets and took $61, police said.
The incident occurred just before 6 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The driver, whom police did not name, called police from a gas station after the robbers fled on foot, police said. Police later located Rolle-Davila and Morgan and charged them with second-degree robbery and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Rolle-Davila and Morgan are scheduled to be arraigned in First District
