Brooklyn man charged with Nassau bank robberies

Robbery squad detectives made arrests Friday for bank robberies and an attempted bank robbery of TD bank branches in several Nassau County communities, police said Friday.
Dean Marneris, 41, of Brooklyn, was arrested shortly after the 10:30 a.m. robbery Friday of the TD Bank branch at 3222 Sunrise Hwy., Wantagh. Marneris was charged with that robbery, the robbery of that same bank branch on March 10, and with robbing the TD branch located at 500 Old Country Road, Plainview on Dec. 27 and March 20.
In an unrelated incident, Patricia Dupree, 48, of Forest Hills, Queens, was arrested and charged with the attempted robbery on Feb. 17 of the TD bank branch at 344 Jericho Turnpike, Floral Park.
