Syosset Teen Arrested for Xanax, Adderall Possession

The school’s dean reported the incident to police, and following an investigation, The teen was arrested and charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Syosset Teen Arrested for Xanax, Adderall Possession

A Syosset teenager has been arrested for illegal possession of prescriptions pills on Wednesday, Nassau police said.

School officials found an unknown amount of Xanax and 11 Adderall pills on 16-year-old Christopher Camacho, of Woods Circle, while he was at Syosset High School shortly after 1 p.m., police said.

The school’s dean reported the incident to police, and following an investigation, Camacho was arrested and charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He will be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
