Pink-jumpsuited man tries to hold up Lynbrook store

All he got was a Gatorade.
Now Nassau County police are looking to stop the pink bandit before he tries it again.
Police said the robbery took place at the C and R stationery store on Union Avenue at about 1:25 p.m. Thursday.
It was then the man - and police said it was a man, age 25 to 35 - walked into the store, displayed the handgun and demanded money.
But the befuddled clerk couldn't open the register.
Frustrated, police said the pink-clad bandit grabbed a Gatorade and bolted out the door, running north on Union.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous, police said.
