Cops: Marijuana Farmhouse Raided in Bellmore

Two brothers from Freeport were arrested after a “grow house” was discovered and more than a dozen pounds of marijuana seized in Bellmore, Nassau County police said.A marijuana growing operation, like this one, was discovered in Bellmore on Tuesday.

Thomas Micciulli, 23, and his 26-year-old brother, Joseph Micciulli, were found with a combined total of five pounds of marijuana after they were both seen leaving an Alder Road home at about 3 p.m. Monday, police said.

Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives executed a search warrant on the home Tuesday morning and discovered an additional 10 pounds of marihuana along with a hydroponics growth system, police said. The house was a rental with no other people living there, according to investigators.

Both men were charged with criminal possession of marihuana. They were arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
