Tip leads police to Levittown arsenal

(03/27/10) LEVITTOWN - Police arrested a Levittown man after a family member tipped detectives off about an alleged arsenal of illegal weapons and drugs inside his Pebble Lane home.
Authorities say 32-year-old Michael Lyon was arrested outside a Best Western Inn in Woodbury Friday. Detectives say Lyon's family member told police he was keeping guns and drugs at his home, which led officers to investigate.
Police confiscated multiple illegal firearms, including assault-type rifles, as well as knives, anti-ballistic vests and vials of a substance authorities say could be steroids.
Lyon faces several counts of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance, among other charges.
