PBA Receives Public Support!

The PBA has Received many of e-mails in support of our Newsday Bias campaign. Thank you for your support! Keep those e-mails coming!
Below are just small samplings of the entries.

Barbara from Long Island writes us concerning PBA President DelaRaba's recently published letter to the Editor titled, "Holding the line on Police protection"
Well said Mr. President. The Nassau County Police Department and the PBA have consistently worked towards providing even better protection and response time for the safety of the general public. There is no question about their dedication and goal to provide a safe environment for people
to live in. You can't put a dollar amount on safety. Think about the chaos
our society would be subjected to if the PBA acted in the same inconsistent manner as our County Executive. Mr.Suozzi does a lot of talking but where are the results? I trust the Nassau County Police Department. They actually do what they say they will. Moreover, I can't thank the PBA enough for their dedication, dependability, and superior knowledge in providing for the safety of so many people.
Thank you!
I totally support the NCPD and all your good work !! As a volunteer firefighter in Nassau County, I too know the affects of poor journalism with Newsday. Their mischaracterizations and inacurracies are tatamount to continual "yellow" journalism. Keep up the good work, and be safe out there !!

I have just read your article in the local rag. i salute your president. i am sure that if he reaches out to the volunteer fireman of Nassau he'll even get more support. it is time to tell the truth in Nassau. they shape elections and maneuver the editorials to shape what they think Nassau should be and not getting the facts out they ruin people lives and damage their credibility. it is a shame that they don't do a seven day look at Newsday and the corrupted management there

I commend you for having the courage to challenge the policies and practices of Newsday. As a retired school district employee, I have seen Newsday spew it's anti civil service employee venom for years. Now as a homeowner trying to sell a large house and downsize after raising 5 children, I'm seeing Newsday doing everything it can to bring down the prices of homes on Long Island. It seems to me that they are trying to distract Long Islanders from their own corruption eg. circulation fraud by appearing to champion the cause of affordable housing. Good Luck and God Bless and Protect you and the men and women who put your lives on the line for Long Islanders everyday.

The Newsday Bias is not limited to the Nassau County PBA. Over the years, while they nail Brookhaven and Islip, I gave them documented facts proving that Babylon is even more corrupt. Spitzer, Spota & Hevesi will not do anything because, like Nassau, the Dems control Babylon. One example is there are 4 or 5 lawyers, including Rich Schaffer, getting taxpayer-paid medical insurance. Newsday refuses to print it even when when proven. Babylon has the highest debt-per-capita in Suffolk Cty, yet the taxpayers do not know it. They are in bed with the Dems so if Suozzi hates you, Newsday hates you.
