Nassau PBA Hosts Camp Anchor 2010

The Nassau PBA hosted it's annual Camp Anchor Carnival at Lido Beach today. Campers came out in force for a day of sun and fun. Members of the Nassau County PBA cooked lunch for campers and manned booths that served everything from cotton candy to popcorn.

Bounce Pits, inflatable slides and games of skill helped burn off some calories and a DJ tent belted out popular dance tunes providing all day fun.

Campers got a hands on demonstration of vehicles used by the Nassau County Police including everything from police motorcycles to cars to boats. They were also able to view and experiment with tools available to NCPD Police Officers.

The arrival of the police helicopters is always a big crowd-pleaser!
